…you may have earned during medical school. If you have none, its ok to leave them blank. Your work experience is any paid jobs you have held, which can be work as a lab assistant or summer research fellowships. Here's a video I made on organizing your ERAS application in general. I matched into a competitive Rads program from a low-tier MD school. A good strategy can make your application shine and stand out. ▶ link

Keep it short and simple. There is a 1020 character limit and you don't have to link to to your speciality. My friend has a YouTube video in this. Check out from minute 6:38 ▶ link

…past cycle. Succinctness is key (you're limited to 1020 characters). The type of organization and a few notable activities or your impact within the organization should be mentioned. The last sentence can be used to list any awards or honors you may have won within the organization. Here's a video I made on efficiently formatting the ERAS CV. The work experience/ volunteer/ research section starts at 6:38 ▶ link

Hobbies and interests are primarily used for conversation starters during interviews. It's important to keep them succinct and elaborate enough in 510 characters to pique the interviewer's interest. Check out the video below for an example from my friend who matched this past cycle: from min 3:20 ▶ link
