I Figured out Goljan Audio tapes are from 2002, and they are still 100% worth it. Goljan says he is 69 years old in the first seconds of this video from ▶ 2012. And in the audio tapes (recorded from a live Kaplan review), he says he is 59 yo at some point. That would make the audio tapes from 2002. During his part on asbestos and pneumoconioses, the pain sounded fresh when he said, "You know, when those 2 buildings c…

Listen to Goljan talk about this, around the 14 minute mark. ▶ link He says do as many as you can, and if needed on tutor mode, so that you can blast through thousands. Also this guy: ▶ link is in that same camp. I am also in that camp. Not repeating my resources ad nauseam freed up time to expose myself to lots of resources and questions. I definitely felt that this gave me the ability to be very dynamic on the real…

What's does goljan mean here about how to do practice questions? ~2 minute segment ▶ link Is he saying that you do practice questions in tutor mode instead of timed mode and by subject or random? He said in that clip to use the timed assessments for testing yourself. Do real scores vary studying uworld in tutor mode if that was what he was saying for all of dedicated?

…the year on untimed mode starting in August, keeping up with school material. In January, right after coming back from winter break, I switched to tutor mode so that I could pound through the rest of Rx. Goljan in one of his talks (▶ link around the 14:00 mark) mentions how it is useful to do tutor to go through many questions, so I heeded his advice. I finished around half of Rx in about 2-3 weeks. Since com…

Has anyone here tried Goljan's approach to using Qbanks? For those who don't know what I'm talking about, here's a link: ▶ link He starts talking about it around 12 minutes. Just as a summary, he basically stresses volume and speed over going in extreme depth for each question. I've read and heard a lot of people annotating everything from Uworld but I haven't heard many people use this strategy. Has anyone here trie…

…block by answering 1 question, reviewing the correct answer, reviewing why the wrong answers are wrong, annotating pertinent info into FA, etc. I initially started this way as well, and the process was painfully slow. That was until I saw ▶ this video from Dr. Goljan at a medical student convention in 2013. Around the 14:00 minute mark, he stresses completing mass volumes of questions with minimal time reviewing rat…
